About Just Be You

Adolescence is a time met with a crossroads of trying to fit in while simultaneously figuring out who they are, what makes them different, and who they want to become, a duality that sometimes breeds confusion, anxiety, and depression. Our messaging is that this is ok and they aren’t alone while outfitting our young adults with the ability to understand and implement self-esteem and self-compassion.

At Just Be You, self compassion is the ability to comfort and soothe ourselves, to motivate ourselves with encouragement when we feel inferior or less than. It is a skill that is imperative for us to thrive with the understanding of love, creating healthier, more honest relationships with ourselves and those around us.

Through developmentally appropriate activities, carefully crafted practices, and meditations in a safe space, joined by skilled, knowledgeable, caring leaders, this course creates an opportunity for adolescents to construct a healthier path to lead them and gives rise to greater understanding of their emotions. The Just Be You space encourages and celebrates all levels of what it means to be bold, be brilliant, and just be you.
