NASHVILLE, TN (July 6, 2010) – Capitol Nashville’s Darius Rucker participated in the 52nd Annual Coke Zero 400 this past weekend in Daytona, Florida.
Rucker took part in a 30 minute Q&A on the Coke Zero Stage with Kyle Petty, introduced six Congressional Medal of Honor recipients and interviewed on the TNT set with Larry McReynolds and Lindsay Czarniak. He also performed a 60 minute pre-race concert presented by LongHorn Steakhouse as well as the National Anthem during the event. TNT aired a performance of Rucker’s new single, “Come Back Song,” from his upcoming sophomore country album twice during the race telecast. Nascar driver David Reuitmann’s car featured a Darius Rucker “Come Back Song” decal on his 00 Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota Camry. “Come Back Song” was the most added single on both country radio charts this week.
