Darius received an invitation this Thanksgiving holiday that he couldn’t resist – to join fellow country stars for an intimate performance at The White House in the East Room with President Obama and the First Lady in attendance! Tune in to Country Music: In Performance At The White House on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 8 p.m. ET on PBS to hear Darius perform his single, “I Got Nothin’,” as well as his performance collaboration with legendary singer/songwriter Kris Kristofferson.
Darius joined Kris and Lyle Lovett prior to the performance to speak to a group of high school students who are aspiring musicians and artists. His advice? “You have to love it. I never wanted to be anything other than a singer, and it was because of that drive that I’m even here today,” Darius shared.
