On June 7 Darius will hold the 1st Annual “Darius & Friends" concert to benefit groundbreaking research and lifesaving care of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. Presale begins March 11 for the event which will take place in Nashville, TN at The Wildhorse Saloon.
Darius spent time playing music to hospitalized veterans prior to the March 3 benefit concert for Musicians on Call. When reflecting on his time spent with the veterans, Rucker describes it as "A day I'll never forget." Check out the heart warming video here.
Auction items include birdhouses decorated by or honoring celebrities in the music industry.
Darius attended the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2007 as a presenter and now, three years and three No. 1 hits later, Rucker will return to the show as a nominee in the Top Male Vocalist of the Year category.
